Geeks that Give: NTEN Day of Service

Posted by: cyuskoff on: May 6, 2009

I participated for NTEN Day of Service held this year in San Francisco from April 26-28, 2009. It’s where big-hearted techies join forces to give back to their local community. This time we installed a wireless network at St. Anthony’s Church, located in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District. No prior networking experience is necessary because NTEN organizers do a great job in grouping people with various qualifications to ensure the job gets done right. If you live and breathe technology and enjoy giving back to your community, you will love this project.
